Associate Professor Anna Angelova was awarded the Blue Ribbon Honorary Sign of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”

anna_1.jpgAt the Academic Council ceremony the Rector Professor Anastas Gerdzhikov, Ph.D., awarded Associate Professor Anna Angelova, PhD, with the Blue Ribbon Honorary Sign of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” for her professionalism and dedicated work as Director of the Sofia University Library “St. Kliment Ohridski ". Associate Professor Angelova expressed her gratitude for receiving this exceptional academic distinction. She emphasized that, above all, she is accepting the award as appreciation of the work of her colleagues at the Sofia University Library and as acknowledgement of the Sofia University Library. "I would like to thank my colleagues for their professional determination and high proficiency."
The exhibition "The Many-sided Mihalaki Georgiev" was presented in Vidin

vidin_1.jpgThe Sofia University Library and the Institute for Literature at BAS were invited by the Regional Library “Mihalaki Georgiev” – Vidin to present their joint exhibition “The Many-sided Mihalaki Georgiev”.
 The exhibition was presented on October 23rd, 2019. It was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Vidin Municipality – CvetanAsenov, representatives of cultural institutions from the town and the Regional department of education – Vidin, journalists, students from the Professional high-school “Prof.AsenZlatarov” and residents of Vidin.
