Sector “Computer Services and Digital Information”

The University Library combines in its work the traditional Library services and the newest modern methods for information backup.

In the sector “Computer Services and Digital Information” at the Central University Library is given the opportunity for navigating the Internet, using Word, Excel, PowerPoint:

• Writing class and diploma papers, presentations, access to information, necessary for your education;
• Navigating the Internet;
• Various in-purpose and subject e-resources;
• Searching in the e-catalog of UL ALEPH
• E-mail;
• Searching for information in other resources – virtual libraries, e-catalogs of other Bulgarian and foreign libraries, directories and search engines.;
• Reference resources – encyclopedias, dictionaries etc.;
• E-texts on the Internet – journals, newspapers, books et al;
• Information resources for Internet self-learning;
• Ordering documents by Electronic Document Delivery Service – e-mail: dds@libsu.uni-sofia.bg;

Prices:
• Using a computer for 1 day – 2.00 lv
• Navigating the Internet – 1 lv per hour
• Printing – 0.10 lv per page
